Iya "Omi" Osunbolaji

Osunbolaji Omidele Egbefunmilayo (Omi) is a gifted clairaudient and spirit medium, able to channel and relay

messages from a diverse cadre of Spirits and Guides—offering a map to self empowerment and upliftment for

her clients. These gifts guide and inform her divination sessions, and provide insight for building vibrant,

empowering sacred spaces.

Omi joined her first Yoruba (Esin Orisa Ibile / Isese Lagba) spiritual house in 2006. In 2016, she traveled to

Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria to initiate to Osun (supervised by Yeye ‘Doyin & Yeye Oladunni Olosun). In 2018, she

returned to Osogbo to initiate to Egbe (supervised by Iyalode Fakayode). Her training continues under the

guidance of the senior priests at Ile Arira.

Prior to this, she studied Kemetic spirituality with Rev. Dr. Queen Mother Imakhu Mu Nfr-t, culminating in

priesthood and Nganga (water priesthood) initiations in late 2011 (Hm-t NTR Nuit Menhit Renu-t em Akeru). Omi

is a carrier of the Shen Urrit healing system exclusive to this lineage.

A native of Baltimore City, she holds a B.S. in Psychology and African American studies from Northeastern

University. In 2004, she completed the 637 hour certification program in Massage Therapy at the Baltimore

School of Massage and passed the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork

(NCBTMB) exam in March 2006. In the spring of 2011, her focus shifted from bodywork to energy healing; she

became a Usui Reiki Master in 2012.

A devoted student of Spirit, Omi considers her journey an ever-flowing work in progress.
